Not equal giving but equal sacrifice
Timing is everything and the leadership of Christ Fellowship believes that now is the time for us to move forward. While we have thought about doing a capital campaign in the past, we never felt like God was directing us to it. Often times, waiting takes more faith than moving. Now, we believe that God is telling us that This Is the Time! God moves in moments and we believe this is our moment.
- Campus
We need to update and expand our current facilities and we are working on a design that will compliment our vision and also our region. The new look will replace the façade and also give additional square footage for ministry needs. While we have plenty of room in the auditorium, our children’s and adult classroom space needs to grow.
- Communication
We need to update our current communications equipment. This includes signs, video equipment (camera’s, projector’s, etc), and sound systems. In order to reach this technical savvy generation, we must stay current with our communications systems.
- Community
Christ Fellowship has made a commitment to be a selfless church. The board of directors made a commitment to designate 10% of the capital campaign to be given back. What does given back mean? We can use this money for church planting, adopting a community, home for unwed mothers, etc.
- Culture
By expanding our campus, updating our communications and investing in our community Christ Fellowship can impact the culture of our region and our world for Christ.
What is expected of me?
What we are asking everyone in the congregation to do is to be in prayer and ask God how you can:
- Make a difference with your resources.
- Do something significant that will outlast your life.
- Be involved in leaving a legacy for future generations.
- Be involved in seeing lives changed by the power of Christ.
Yes, we are asking for you to sacrifice financially. But, also, we all have unique gifts that can be offered in support of the campaign. You are here for a reason!
