Derek is a Pathblazer. Like Caleb from the Old Testament, he doesn\u2019t let unchartered territory intimidate, but rather enjoys forging new paths and making new trails for people to traverse in the Kingdom of God.<\/p>\n

Derek is originally from the hills of southeastern Ohio. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from The Ohio State University, where he also played football. Upon graduation, he entered the corporate world where he would work for eight years before stepping into full time ministry.<\/p>\n

He is now the lead pastor of Christ Fellowship Church in Kingsport, Tennessee, where he lives with his wife, Kate, and three children. In addition to pastoring Christ Fellowship, Derek co-owns Pink Duck Plumbing (https:\/\/www.pinkduckplumbing.com\/<\/a>) and True You Leader (https:\/\/www.trueyouleader.com\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Kim Wheeler is the Adult Ministry Director at Christ Fellowship Church. Before taking a full-time position at Christ Fellowship, she completed a 20 year career as a high school English teacher. She is a life-long resident of Kingsport and a life-long lover of Jesus.<\/p>\n

For the past 28 years she has been married to Jason, who truly is her best friend, and they have 2 young adult kids \u2013 Abbey & Creed.<\/p>\n

Richie Christie is the Next Gen Pastor at Christ Fellowship and is also leading CF Ascend. Before moving to Kingsport to join the CF team, he was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan.<\/p>\n

Richie\u2019s loves seeing people\u2019s passion catch fire as they come into their original design as God created them to be. He also cares a lot about people realizing there is no separation between the \u201csacred\u201d and \u201csecular\u201d, God is inviting all of us to wake up to that reality, so we can see His Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven in all things.<\/p>\n

He has been married to his amazing wife, Jenna, for 10 years, and they have two wild young boys, River and Abel, and a beautiful little girl, Maeve, along with their Golden Retriever, Izzo. Richie Christie is the Next Gen Pastor at Christ Fellowship and is also leading CF Ascend. Before moving to Kingsport to join the CF team, he was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan.<\/p>\n

Richie\u2019s loves seeing people\u2019s passion catch fire as they come into their original design as God created them to be. He also cares a lot about people realizing there is no separation between the \u201csacred\u201d and \u201csecular\u201d, God is inviting all of us to wake up to that reality, so we can see His Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven in all things.<\/p>\n

Tiffany Fykes began her professional work by producing coverage for Reuters News of the Bush\/Gore election in 2000.\u00a0 Just as that turned into a bigger deal than anyone could have imagined…so started her career.\u00a0 She spent the next 7 years in the \u201cedu-tainment\u201d genre of video production producing teaching pieces and documentaries to inspire new ways of thinking.\u00a0 Her ultimate ambition, however, was to build a family business alongside her husband Joshua.<\/p>\n

Derek is a Pathblazer. Like Caleb from the Old Testament, he doesn\u2019t let unchartered territory intimidate, but rather enjoys forging new paths and making new trails for people to traverse in the Kingdom of God.<\/p>\n

Derek is originally from the hills of southeastern Ohio. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from The Ohio State University, where he also played football. Upon graduation, he entered the corporate world where he would work for eight years before stepping into full time ministry.<\/p>\n

He is now the lead pastor of Christ Fellowship Church in Kingsport, Tennessee, where he lives with his wife, Kate, and three children.<\/p>\n

Kim Wheeler is the Adult Ministry Director at Christ Fellowship Church. Before taking a full-time position at Christ Fellowship, she completed a 20 year career as a high school English teacher. She is a life-long resident of Kingsport and a life-long lover of Jesus.<\/p>\n

For the past 28 years she has been married to Jason, who truly is her best friend, and they have 2 young adult kids \u2013 Abbey & Creed.<\/p>\n

He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech. Jeff spent his first business years in the field operations, marketing and continuous improvement prior to founding his consulting business. During his 25-plus year career he has held numerous key management positions, including General Manager, Sales\/Marketing Director, Vice President New Business Development, Managing Director, and Continuous Improvement Director.<\/p>\n

As an Improvement Manager and Coach, Jeff has facilitated teams in operational excellence and leadership effectiveness at many companies including: Union Carbide, Praxair, Pratt & Whitney, United Airlines, McDonald\u2019s, Delta Airlines, Exide, Chemtura, Compass Minerals, Songwon and IKO. The events covered a full range of continuous improvement from production flow line, senior management practices, and business process changes to a total redesign of the business. Paul worked with Deloitte Consulting as a Principal \u2013 supporting clients all over the
\nworld while also serving as an US Air Force Reserve officer. His career elevated to a
\nplace where he managed many other partners, but he lost touch with customers he
\nloved engaging. A Life Plan retreat in 2008 made it clear to him that working alongside leaders to help them find more successful enterprises and lives is what he loved most and where he could make his highest contribution. He took early retirement from Deloitte and now applies his extensive consulting knowledge to leaders and businesses of all sizes through SummitTrek where he has been a partner for over a decade. He is especially gifted at solving complex problems and helping others find a clear path forward to success in their personal, professional, and spiritual lives. He operates with a boundless confidence and infectious enthusiasm. He is a man of deep faith with a marriage of 40 years and three grown sons. Tiffany Fykes began her professional work by producing coverage for Reuters News of the Bush\/Gore election in 2000.\u00a0 Just as that turned into a bigger deal than\u00a0anyone could have imagined\u2026so started her career.\u00a0 She spent the next 7 years in the \u201cedu-tainment\u201d genre of video production producing teaching pieces and documentaries to inspire new ways of thinking.\u00a0 Ultimately, her goal was to partner with her husband Joshua in a family business and in 2008 she joined his residential architecture company to lead the client experience and in 2009 she led the expansion of their brand into real estate services.\u00a0 Despite the real estate crisis, within 4 years Tiffany built a million dollar revenue company, was recognized as one of the top agents in the country, had doubled the size of her family, and was on a path to completely lose her identity.\u00a0 She wrestled for the next decade with the right version of success, surrender and striving.<\/p>\n
