What is your Kingdom Identity, or who did God make you to be?  For me, it would be “Helper” or “Intermediate Helper.”

Don’t read any further, but ask God how He made you. Take 30-60 seconds.

Prayer: God, who do You say I am?

Great!  Now, how are you going to live this identity in the next hour, day, week, month, and this year?

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

My point is this: Are we walking in a way that reflects the way God made us?  If not, where is the opportunity to make a change?

This past year has been that opportunity for me. Some days were a struggle, but I have learned that God is always with me, especially in moments when I feel the next step, literally and figuratively, is impossible.

At a point when I felt the lowest (even though I felt I was walking in my identity the best I knew how) my daughter was praying for me and sent me a message. She said she sensed God saying:
“This is one of the most freeing days of his life.  Right now, you just can’t see it with the naked eye.  I am blessing him and giving him a gift, you don’t see it yet, but soon you will.”

I have learned we can’t always see or know what is in store for us, but when we walk in faith and trust, live in our identity, and know God never leaves us, we can be sure that He is doing something transformational.

Romans 8:28 tells us that “in all things God works for the good of those who love Him…”

My encouragement for you over the next hour, day, month, and year is to listen to God and walk in how He created you.  Know that He is with you and will lead you in each step.
