General
What is the weekly schedule?
CF Ascend is a 20-25 hour per week commitment.
M: 9am-2:30pm Tu: 10am-12pm W: 9am-2:30pm Th: 9am-2:30pm Su: Service.
The days will be a combination of contemplation and solitude, classes on various topics, community connection, worship & serving.
Where is it located?
CF Ascend is located at Christ Fellowship in Kingsport, TN. We are about 1.5 hours east of Knoxville, TN and 1.5 north of Asheville, NC right in the heart of Appalachia. For those looking to travel, we have a regional airport, Tri-Cities (TRI).
Do you accept international students?
At this time we are working out the details to accept people from around the globe and hope to have this available for our start date.
Is it accredited? Not at this time. But the connections you will make here will be far worth it.

Application
When is the deadline to apply?
Deadline for applications is May 31, 2024.
How much is the application fee?
$40, non refundable.
What is required to apply?
It will take you about 30-60min to apply. You will need a video, photo of drivers license or passport & references ready to submit.

Finances
What is the cost of tuition?
The tuition cost is $3,200. This can be broken up into multiple payments if necessary.
What does tuition cover?
Classes, books & yearly retreat. No housing or living expenses are included in tuition.
Can I work?
Yes, in fact it will be required to get a job in the community to begin to put into practice what we are learning.
Can I go to school?
You will be in class with Ascend 20-25 hours a week and encouraged to work somehow in the community. Any other time you have is up to you!
Is there Financial Aid?
We do not offer direct financial assistance. But if you are accepted we will work with you to equip you in raising funds.
