What is the weekly schedule?

CF Ascend meets twice a week: Tuesday Night for teaching  from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m for Small Group Discussions.

Who can do it?

Anyone age post High School and up.

Where is it located?

CF Ascend is located at Christ Fellowship in Kingsport, TN. We are about 1.5 hours east of Knoxville, TN and 1.5 north of Asheville, NC right in the heart of Appalachia. For those looking to travel, we have a regional airport, Tri-Cities (TRI).

Do you accept international students?

At this time we are working out the details to accept people from around the globe and hope to have this available for our start date.

Is it accredited? Not at this time. But the connections you will make here will be far worth it.

Application

When is the deadline to apply?

Deadline for applications is August 15th, 2025.

What should I do to prepare to apply?

It will take you about 30min to apply. You’ll need one reference & a photo.

Why is there an application?

Many people have come from around the country to do this in the past. Part of our prayerful discernment process is to make sure it is a good fit for both parties. The application simply helps us hear your story and heart more.

Finances

What is cost of tuition?

The tuition cost is $500 for the year, which can be broken up monthly to $50/mo or any other way.

What does tuition cover?

Both retreat weekends, plus the cost for guest teachers’ content and travel. It also includes all books & materials. Lastly, each gathering will have snacks & beverages, as well as dinner from time to time.

What if I can’t afford it?

We believe investing in this is investing in your future, and it is worth it. However, if finances are what is stopping you, we want to help. From helping you fundraise or leaning on generous donors to provide a way for you to do this. Do not let money be the roadblock.
